Overview
Business Continuity Planners develop strategies and procedures to keep an organisation operating during and after disasters, cyberattacks, or major disruptions. They conduct comprehensive risk assessments, write detailed recovery plans, organise and run tabletop exercises, and coordinate with leadership and various departments to minimise downtime and ensure operational resilience.
Ensures an organization's ability to withstand and recover from significant disruptions, protecting its assets, reputation, and financial stability while maintaining critical services.

- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and critical functions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans and policies.
- Organise and lead tabletop exercises, drills, and simulations to test the effectiveness of continuity and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and emergency services to ensure integrated response capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats in business continuity and resilience.
