Every student deserves
to know what they're built for.
Most career sessions start at "so, what do you want to do?" — and go nowhere. Traitstack gives every student a personalised personality and career map as a foundation. Completed in 5–7 minutes — in a lesson, as homework, or before a one-to-one. No accounts. No IT setup.

Simple for you.
Meaningful for them.
Share one link. No setup.
Display or send the link to your class. Students complete the assessment on any device in 5–7 minutes — no accounts, no app, no IT procurement. Each student gets their full report immediately.
Students arrive knowing their results.
Before the session, each student gets an AI-guided debrief — Traitstack's built-in tool, Runo — that walks them through their personality, interests, and top career matches at their own pace. Your conversation starts at depth — not at "so, what do you want to do?"
Self-knowledge that outlasts the session.
When students arrive knowing how they think and what energises them, every career conversation has somewhere real to go. Personal statements become more authentic. Pastoral sessions go deeper from the first question.
What students arrive with
Every student arrives

Before any session, each student has a full personality profile, an interest map showing what genuinely energises them, and 1,300+ career pathways ranked by their unique fit. Your conversation starts with real self-knowledge — not a blank page.

A personality assessment built for
meaningful conversations.
Most careers platforms focus on course selection and university applications. Traitstack focuses on self-knowledge — the layer that makes every other conversation more meaningful.

Traitstack isn't a replacement for your careers platform. It's the self-knowledge layer that makes every conversation on it more meaningful.
Questions from careers leads and heads of welfare.
Is Traitstack GDPR compliant? Are student results stored?
Students complete the assessment anonymously — no account is created and no personal data is stored against an individual profile. A full Data Processing Agreement is available on request for your DPO or safeguarding lead.
Does this help us evidence Gatsby Benchmarks?
Yes. Traitstack supports evidence for Gatsby Benchmarks 3 (addressing the needs of each student) and 4 (linking curriculum learning to careers) by providing every student with a personalised personality and career assessment. The reports can form part of your PSHE programme and be used as evidence in Compass+ and similar tracking tools.
What year groups and key stages is this suitable for?
Traitstack works best with students aged 14 and above — typically KS4 and KS5 (Years 10–13). The assessment language and career pathways are calibrated for this age group. It can also be used with mature KS3 students as an introductory self-awareness activity.
Can we view student results — is there a teacher dashboard?
Individual reports go straight to students. We provide anonymised class-level summaries for your careers lead — contact us to discuss what format works for your school.
How much does it cost for a year group or whole school?
We offer flexible pricing for schools, from individual student sessions to whole year group programmes. Get in touch to discuss your cohort size and we'll provide a tailored quote — typically far less than most careers platform subscriptions.
Can students complete this at home, or does it need to be done in school?
Both. The assessment works on any device — laptop, tablet, or phone — with no account or app required. You can run it as a whole-class activity, assign it as homework, or share the link ahead of a one-to-one pastoral session.
How is this different from tools we already use (Unifrog, Morrisby, Compass)?
Most careers platforms focus on course and university applications. Traitstack focuses on personality and interests — the self-knowledge that makes those conversations meaningful. It's not a replacement for a UCAS or application tool; it's the assessment that gives students something real to say in their personal statements and pastoral sessions.
