On the job
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney diseases.
- Manage patients undergoing dialysis (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis).
- Evaluate patients for kidney transplantation and provide post-transplant care.
- Prescribe and adjust complex medication regimens to manage hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and other renal complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, dietitians, and social workers, to provide holistic patient care.
