On the job
- Perform echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and other non-invasive cardiovascular tests.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain tests, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain complex diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function.
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiac procedures, such as catheterizations, by monitoring patients and managing equipment.
- Record and analyze test results, preparing reports for interpretation by cardiologists.
