On the job
- Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings to assess energy usage.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including blower door tests, thermal imaging, and combustion analysis, to identify air leaks and insulation deficiencies.
- Analyze utility bills and energy consumption data to pinpoint areas of excessive use.
- Develop comprehensive energy audit reports detailing findings, recommended efficiency upgrades, and projected cost savings and return on investment (ROI).
- Present audit findings and recommendations to clients, explaining technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
