On the job

  • Prepare furniture surfaces by sanding, stripping old finishes, and filling imperfections.
  • Mix and apply stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, and other finishing materials.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment for surface preparation and finishing.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform minor repairs to furniture, such as patching holes or re-gluing joints, prior to finishing.
